Very informative video, would definitely benefit through your advice during our trip to Saranda next month. We would go from Berat to Saranda, can you suggest me the best way to reach from Berat?
Thank you! There are buses from Berat to Saranda but if possible I would better rent a car for a day and go down the coast road and make a day trip out of it by stopping at some beach spots 😉

These are all great suggestions, but sometimes you just end up being in the wrong place at the wrong time and will end up getting robbed at gunpoint in South America like me. Unfortunately, if the robber has a gun, there’s nothing you can do to prevent this from happening to you.

@@AlikiTravelBlog I was in Quito at the base of Panecillo hill. I was a traveler that missed the memo that it was unsafe to walk up the hill to the statue, and as I was beginning to walk up the hill, I was greeted by two men on a motorcycle. The passenger on the motorcycle appeared with a gun on his waist, and before I knew it the gun was in my face. This was last year and still to this day, I feel so much pain that I missed the memo not to walk up that hill. Quito’s historic center seemed so safe and I never would have thought it would be so dangerous to walk up the hill nearby.

Haha but you have to travel somehow?! Buses is the best easiest budget friendly option. I am here to warn you about things to watch out but you have to commute somehow!
